With the first collection dedicated to women in the Piaget range, the Limelight Stella offers elegant lines, a skillful combination of two shapes: a round 36mm-diameter case and a round dial with an oval opening. Visible through a sapphire crystal back on the rose gold case, the Manufacture 584P automatic mechanical movement is an eminently feminine interpretation of the moon phase. The poetry of this refined complication is embodied in delicate touches, like the diamond-hemmed opening of the moon phase, the seconds hand adorned with a star at its tip, the understated white dial dotted with applied gold hour markers or the dedicated finishing of the rose gold colored oscillating weight and white engraving. These refined final touches are continued on its taupe-colored alligator strap closed by a rose gold pin buckle.

My favourite watch is the Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet. It is actually a men’s model, but I think the watch with 40 mm diameter looks breathtakingly beautiful on a woman, too. Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.

I particularly like this ZENITH Defy Midnight 36 mm for the watch’s combination of features and unique selling points. Firstly, it has an extraordinary colour gradient on the dial, which is highly attractive. You can easily pair the watch with different colourful straps yourself if you find the steel bracelet version too traditional. Try a suitably black strap on one side and a grey one on the other. It is sure to look amazing! Secondly, this model boasts excellent technical credentials thanks to the ZENITH Elite manufacture movement. Overall, it is excellent value for money given what the timepiece offers.
