The Luminor Due was inspired by the case of the Luminor 1950, which represents the pinnacle of Panerai’s creation. All elements are taken directly from this history and have been subtly redesigned. This watch is Panerai's answer to sporty elegance for special occasions.

 

With a reduced case diameter of 42mm and a delicate appearance, this timepiece also adorns delicate wrists without losing any of the Panerai DNA. The crown protection bridge, patented by Guido Panerai & Figlio in 1956, can still be found on the case and provides additional security. No other feature is more associated with Panerai today. The anthracite-colored dial is timelessly elegant and can be easily combined with a bracelet of any color. Thanks to the bracelet quick-change system, the strap can be changed within seconds at any time. Powered by the P.900 automatic movement with hour and minute displays, date and small seconds and a power reserve of 3 days, the watch offers all the useful functions for everyday use.

My favourite watch is the Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet. It is actually a men’s model, but I think the watch with 40 mm diameter looks breathtakingly beautiful on a woman, too. The classic complete calendar with Blancpain’s signature moon phase looks stunning with its simple elegance. Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.

Founded in 1735, Blancpain is the oldest watch brand in the world. The Villeret models have barely been aesthetically altered since the early days of Blancpain, yet they still look very contemporary. They have become a timeless classic that is a dependable accessory for generations.

I particularly like this ZENITH Defy Midnight 36 mm for the watch’s combination of features and unique selling points. Firstly, it has an extraordinary colour gradient on the dial, which is highly attractive. You can easily pair the watch with different colourful straps yourself if you find the steel bracelet version too traditional. Try a suitably black strap on one side and a grey one on the other. It is sure to look amazing! Secondly, this model boasts excellent technical credentials thanks to the ZENITH Elite manufacture movement. Overall, it is excellent value for money given what the timepiece offers.
