Breitling Navitimer Automatic 35 - am Handgelenk

The Navitimer – Breitling’s aviation legend. The whole story begins in 1952. The watch was created for pilots to make calculations, such as fuel consumption and the aircraft’s rate of climb while manoeuvring, using the slide rule during the flight. The model has seen many innovations over the years. Almost 10 years after the watch was first launched, a new version was introduced with a dial for astronauts. Astronauts quickly lose a sense of time in space, so the watch was given a 24-hour dial to avoid confusion. Scott Carpenter wore the watch in 1962 on his mission with the Aurora 7 spacecraft. The watch has some unique features. With its breathtaking mother-of-pearl dial, the Breitling Navitimer looks a little different in all lighting conditions. The shimmering white, blue, pink and green colours are enchanting and are beautifully paired with delightful 35 mm steel cases, rose-gold hands and diamond-set indexes.
