The Story: the Navitimer Automatic 35 elegantly and cleverly combines the historical charm of a true legend with the finesse of a modern timepiece. The 35 mm case comes in many different materials, including stainless steel and 18k red gold, and features a beaded bezel. The dial is available in an elegant range of colours, as well as a diamond-set version in white mother-of-pearl. The Navitimer Automatic 35 is available with a matching metal bracelet or an alligator leather strap with a stainless-steel pin buckle or folding clasp. It is powered by the Breitling 17 calibre, a COSC-certified chronometer.

My favourite watch is the Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet. It is actually a men’s model, but I think the watch with 40 mm diameter looks breathtakingly beautiful on a woman, too. The classic complete calendar with Blancpain’s signature moon phase looks stunning with its simple elegance. Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.

Founded in 1735, Blancpain is the oldest watch brand in the world. The Villeret models have barely been aesthetically altered since the early days of Blancpain, yet they still look very contemporary. They have become a timeless classic that is a dependable accessory for generations.

I particularly like this ZENITH Defy Midnight 36 mm for the watch’s combination of features and unique selling points. Firstly, it has an extraordinary colour gradient on the dial, which is highly attractive. You can easily pair the watch with different colourful straps yourself if you find the steel bracelet version too traditional. Try a suitably black strap on one side and a grey one on the other. It is sure to look amazing! Secondly, this model boasts excellent technical credentials thanks to the ZENITH Elite manufacture movement. Overall, it is excellent value for money given what the timepiece offers.
