As the official sponsor of the Italian team Luna Rossa, the Challenger of Record of the 36th America`s Cup, Panerai has launched this model. It is directly inspired by the materials used for the Luna Rossa yacht. The colour scheme in black, grey, red and white picks up on the colours of the Luna Rossa yacht. The watch features a 44mm diameter Luminor case in black DLC-coated titanium with a black ceramic crown protector. The case back features an engraving of the Luna Rossa logo. The sandwich dial is covered with dark grey canvas and the hands and indexes with white Super-LumiNova. The watch has an in-house Panerai automatic movement with a power reserve of three days. The practical GMT complication can be read off the red GMT hour hand, which gives the watch a sporty flair. All in all, this watch is as discreet as it is striking, very comfortable to wear and aesthetically very well done.

Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.
