The OMEGA Speedmaster 38 is the feminine interpretation of OMEGA's most famous chronograph. The 38 mm stainless steel case is combined with OMEGA's proprietary Sedna™ gold alloy and is hard to beat in terms of sporty elegance. The alloy takes its name from the planetoid Sedna, described as one of the reddest in our solar system. The two-piece bezel has a classic tachymeter scale in the inner part and is set with diamonds in the outer part.

 

The cappuccino dial harmonises perfectly with the brown oval sub-dials and the taupe-brown leather strap. Powered by the self-winding chronograph calibre 3330, with a power reserve of 52 hours and column-wheel control, this timepiece also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of  technical specs.

My favourite watch is the Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet. It is actually a men’s model, but I think the watch with 40 mm diameter looks breathtakingly beautiful on a woman, too. The classic complete calendar with Blancpain’s signature moon phase looks stunning with its simple elegance. Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.

Founded in 1735, Blancpain is the oldest watch brand in the world. The Villeret models have barely been aesthetically altered since the early days of Blancpain, yet they still look very contemporary. They have become a timeless classic that is a dependable accessory for generations.

I particularly like this ZENITH Defy Midnight 36 mm for the watch’s combination of features and unique selling points. Firstly, it has an extraordinary colour gradient on the dial, which is highly attractive. You can easily pair the watch with different colourful straps yourself if you find the steel bracelet version too traditional. Try a suitably black strap on one side and a grey one on the other. It is sure to look amazing! Secondly, this model boasts excellent technical credentials thanks to the ZENITH Elite manufacture movement. Overall, it is excellent value for money given what the timepiece offers.
