This version of the classic Moonwatch is presented in a 42mm-sized  moonshine gold case. This special alloy gives the case a soft, yellowish hue reminiscent of moonlight. The bezel features a black ceramic insert and a Ceragold tachymeter scale. The panda-dial and the applied indices are also made of moonshine gold and harmonize perfectly with the black sub-dials. The blackened hands have a white Super-LumiNova insert that glows green in the dark. The in-house hand-wound movement is anti-magnetic and has a power reserve of 50 hours. A successful classic in a new variation - subtle, yet extraordinary.

Inspired by the 4th generation Speedmaster, this 42 mm Moonwatch in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, has a sun-brushed 18K Moonshine™ Gold "step" dial with blackened subdials and indexes. The black ceramic bezel ring, with OMEGA Ceragold™ tachymeter scale, features the famous dot over 90. As a tribute to its history, the underside of the integrated black rubber strap has a lunar surface pattern in positive relief.

 

The caseback in polished 18K Moonshine™ Gold has double bevels and the words FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON engraved in black. The Moonwatch is powered by OMEGA's Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 with special luxury finish.

My favourite watch is the Blancpain Villeret Quantième Complet. It is actually a men’s model, but I think the watch with 40 mm diameter looks breathtakingly beautiful on a woman, too. The classic complete calendar with Blancpain’s signature moon phase looks stunning with its simple elegance. Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.

Founded in 1735, Blancpain is the oldest watch brand in the world. The Villeret models have barely been aesthetically altered since the early days of Blancpain, yet they still look very contemporary. They have become a timeless classic that is a dependable accessory for generations.
