H. Moser & Cie. – a young and innovative brand with centuries-old roots. The Moser story begins with the emigration of Heinrich Moser to Saint Petersburg in the early 19th century. It was not long before he became the go-to specialist among aristocrats and founded H. Moser & Cie. in 1828. Moser built a factory employing several hundred artisans in Switzerland. In addition to basic three-hand watches, the company produced countless ‘grandes complications’. Besides his watchmaking success, Heinrich Moser also played a key role in driving the industrialisation of Schaffhausen, most notably having a hand in the construction of the first Swiss dam with hydromechanical turbines to generate power.
Today H. Moser & Cie. is one of the most popular brands for collectors, connoisseurs and fans of very special timepieces.
The wholly independent manufacture is known for its fabulous movements, understatement and unique approach.
The H. Moser & Cie. Venturer XL Paramagnetic features an intricately crafted blue fumé dial with applied stick indices and leaf hands. The classic timepiece in a 43 mm white-gold case also features a small seconds hand at 6 o’clock. Limited to ten pieces, this timeless beauty is equipped with the HMC327 manufacture calibre. The in-house movement features the original Precision Engineering paramagnetic balance spring with a stabilised Breguet terminal coil. This PE5000 spring is made with niobium-titanium alloy, which is particularly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields and guarantees top accuracy.
H. Moser & Cie. once again shows that it is a pioneer in haute horlogerie.
