Welcome to the world of Parmigiani Fleurier
Parmigiani Fleurier, the fine watchmaker brand named after its founder, watchmaker and restorer Michel Parmigiani, was founded in 1996 in Val-de-Travers, Switzerland.
Why Parmigiani Fleurier?
For more than 20 years, the Parmigiani Fleurier name has been synonymous with formidable timepieces crafted in keeping with watchmaking traditions. They are the life’s work of Michel Parmigiani and his skilful employees and the result of the watchmaker’s special relationship with the masterpieces of the past, laying the foundation for bold design of the future.
Novelties
Collections
With a contemporary collection of timepieces, the company demonstrates its unwavering dedication to bringing meaning and beauty to the world through watches.
TONDA
To reflect the fact that every woman is unique, Parmigiani Fleurier presents a sumptuous Tonda range that comes in different versions, catering to all tastes. The manufacture’s watchmakers have struck a fine balance between feats of engineering and the most exquisite jewellery, offering extraordinary variations finished with diamonds, aventurine, and gold as well as mother-of-pearl adornments.

TORIC
The Toric was introduced at the brand’s inauguration in 1996 and is Parmigiani Fleurier’s first wristwatch. Based on the ‘golden ratio’, the watch’s aesthetics are reflected in its case inspired by Greek columns. The hand-crafted knurling and the prestigious watch complications contained within make each Toric case unique.
KALPA
The rectangular shape of the Kalpa, known as the ‘tonneau,’ is reflected in the overall aesthetics of the brand. Michel Parmigiani took inspiration from the ‘golden ratio’ and the natural proportions of the Fibonacci sequence for the contours of the teardrop-shaped lugs. The Kalpa is also the origin of the brand’s Kalpa Piccola, Kalpa Donna and Kalparisma.

TONDA PF
The Tonda PF is a brand-new watch collection in the Tonda family, featuring Parmigiani Fleurier’s most distinctive complications from the outset. This includes the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor, a slim, pared-down, high-end two-handed platinum micro-rotor. The Tonda PF Chronograph features an almost flush dial and an integrated high-frequency chronograph movement. The Tonda PF Annual Calendar with retrograde date demonstrates how subtly and skilfully additional indications can be integrated into a pared-down design. All three models are available in steel with a hand-knurled platinum bezel or entirely crafted in 18K rose gold.
Parmigiani Fleurier – a success story
The watch brand Parmigiani Fleurier made its debut at the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne on 29 May 1996. A total of 52 timepieces were presented, both simple and highly complex watches, such as the visionary Toric QP Retrograde. This set the bar high, and over the past 25 years Parmigiani has created various timepiece collections covering the entire spectrum from sporty chic to classic and from pared-back to highly complex watches. All the while the company has remained true to its original ethos and continues to focus on subtle sophistication, the principle of exclusivity and endurance through modernity..
Parmigiani Fleurier has produced over 30 of its own movements over 25 years. Some of them are highly sophisticated and groundbreaking, such as the skeleton 5 Hz PF361 calibre of the Tonda Chronor Anniversaire in solid gold with rattrapante hands. Others have a more pared-back, straight design, like the 2.6 mm PF700 calibre. Others are unconventional and ahead of their time, such as the first calibre produced for the Parmigiani Fleurier brand, the tonneau-shaped PF110 with a double barrel movement and a power reserve of eight days. Over time, Parmigiani Fleurier has made a name for itself, particularly with its outstanding craftmanship when it comes to calendars.
Parmigiani Fleurier’s watchmaking expertise extends to chronographs, chronographs with split-second hands, a tenth-of-a-second stopwatch function and tourbillons. High frequency, high power reserves, sophisticated complications, very low case heights and minimal aesthetics – Parmigiani Fleurier offers a wide range of watches, but every piece that leaves the company’s workshops is exquisitely unique and brilliant.

Past and future
Many of Parmigiani Fleurier’s creations are inspired by the Fibonacci sequence. This mathematical formula, which is closely related to the golden ratio, is the basis for virtually all of Michel Parmigiani’s creations. Parmigiani Fleurier’s aesthetics are distinct and can be recognised by the size of the hands and counters, the curvature of the lugs, guilloche patterns, the case proportions and countless other design details.
‘Over the past 25 years, Parmigiani has succeeded in creating mechanical art at the highest level based on Michel Parmigiani’s unique expertise. We want to allow future watchmaking purists to benefit from this achievement.’ – Guido Terreni, CEO.
