The original OMEGA Railmaster from 1957 was a practical yet elegant anti-magnetic watch designed for railway personnel and others who worked within range of electric fields. This inimitable sense of industry and innovation has now been translated into a modern collection.

 

In this denim-inspired model, the symmetrical 40 mm case is made of stainless steel. There is also a wave décor on the back. The vertically brushed "blue jeans" style dial features brushed stainless steel hands and recessed hour indices filled with light grey Super-LumiNova. It also features a beige central seconds hand and an offset "Railmaster" print that give the design a classic aesthetic.

 

The watch has a stainless steel bracelet and an aligned case back with a NAIAD LOCK system that keeps the lettering in place at all times. The watch is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806, which can withstand magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss.

Each function on the complete calendar can be adjusted individually using the practically invisible under-lug correctors.
